We feel that each parent has a unique opportunity to join us in playing a major role in a very exciting part of their child’s lives. When you become a regular attendee of North Rock Hill Church, we ask that you sign up to volunteer in KidsCamp. We have a spot for you whether you can volunteer every week or on a rotating basis. We even have areas where volunteers can serve on days other than Sunday mornings. We only have one hour of every child’s week and we want to make it the best – that is only going to be possible through God’s grace and through many awesome volunteers! Please join us and you will be blessed beyond what you can imagine!

To volunteer in KidsCamp, we ask that you be on the journey to Partnering with the church and that you complete and return the Volunteer Background Check form.

KidsCamp Volunteer Opportunities

Small Group Leader
Helps to convey the month’s bottom line by, guiding children through activities in the curriculum. Send letters/email to families to encourage and build relationships with the kids.  All material and supplies are provided for you!
Time:
• minimal prep time (15-25 min. at home to read over lesson)
• 1½ hr. 2 x every Sunday (some rotation options)

Storyteller/Host
Helps convey the month’s bottom line by telling the Bible story for that week (as indicated in the curriculum.)
Time:
• minimal prep time at home (must have memorized)
• 20-30 min. on Sunday Morning
• Rotation options available
 
Worship Leader
Help convey the month’s bottom line through the use of music and movement; Coordinates Kids’ Worship Team
Time:
• minimal prep time at home to download music from the curriculum
• 1½ - 2 hr every Sunday.
• Some additional rehearsals as needed with Kids’ Worship Team

Greeter
Welcomes parents and children to KidsCamp
Time:
• 15-20 min. before service

Prep/Supplies
Reorganizes the classrooms after Sunday morning and puts away the materials used that day
Time:
• 1-3 hr. per week
• You are not required to serve every week. You can work on a rotation basis.
