Difficult Passages

Dear NRHC Family,

For the past several weeks we have been wrestling through some difficult, yet incredibly rich passages in our study on the book of Romans. I just want to encourage you that this is a healthy process and everything that we have been working through is critical to the good news of the gospel—and it is great, life-changing news! If you have questions about the gospel or what it means to be a follower of Jesus, please don't hesitate to reach out to us as we would love the opportunity to help you as you process.

Ultimately, the end result in all of these passages we've been studying is worship. The result of the truths we've discussed is always a deeper and greater worship of God—for His goodness, for His sovereignty, and for His wisdom and ways, which are incomparably greater than ours. Our goal in this series is that we, as a faith family, would better understand, articulate, and live out the gospel. As our understanding of the gospel continues to increase, the natural overflow of that is worship, sharing it with others, and living in light of the gospel every day!

If you've missed any of the previous messages on Romans, you can catch up here. We hope and pray that this series continues to challenge us and impact us in a big way.
