| What If Update |
![]() God challenged NRHC to two things: what can we do and what can we give to help us reach our Circle of Accountability (CoA). When God challenges, God provides, and it is obvious that God is performing miracles! Do UpdateLast October we covered two maps of our CoA with almost 500 commitments to make a difference in our city. God led us to embrace seven goals for our CoA. What if there were no orphans in our region? What if those in crises had a ready helping hand? What if every school in our CoA had a strong church partner to serve them? Since last October, we have seen significant progress. We have already helped 65 families and 275 children with the Christmas Boutique ministry in December (our commitment to those in transition). La Red had their public launch in January as a new church reaching out to the Hispanic community (our commitment to planting new churches). Our new Rawlinson Place campus is averaging about 250 people in attendance the past few months (our commitment to have three strategic campuses around the city). As teams are formed and plans are made, you will have increased opportunities to serve in your area of commitment. But why wait until then? Look around and see how you can make a difference! Give UpdateThe level of sacrifice demonstrated in our commitments to date has been extraordinary. Our 3-year commitments total is $1,056,000, and to date we have received $359,710! Another exciting thing that happened during the last few months is a $20,000 grant NRHC received to go toward the What If…goal of impacting our CoA. Let’s be clear… our goal has not changed! We are working hard to raise the entire $1.8 million necessary to purchase the Rawlinson Place campus and shopping center. It is our goal to pay off that location so that we have more money to impact our CoA. Last Updated: 09/01/2010 Goals$1.8 MillionAllows us to be debt free on the Rawlinson Place campus! All rental income is used for missional work in our community! $1.5 MillionAllows us to open the Rawlinson Place campus without significantly impacting our general budget. The rental income from the strip mall units is used ot pay the mortgage. $1.2 MillionAllows us to open the Rawlinson Place campus. All rental income from the strip mall units plus some general budget money are required to pay the mortgage. |
