North Rock Hill Kids

North Rock Hill Kid’s exists to partner with parents to lead children to become disciples who change the world. Each Sunday children, ages 2 through 5th grade, engage in worship, hear the Bible presented to them in a fun and captivating way, and participate in age-graded small groups where they will apply what they learn to everyday life. We believe that God designed the family to be the primary influence in a child's life, and so we equip families with resources to continue Sunday's conversations throughout the week.

What to Expect

Upon arriving, look for our logo on walls, upstairs or downstairs. The Kids Check In stations are close by! There one of our volunteers will help you register your child, and you can let us know about any allergies or special concerns you may have. You will also have an opportunity to see where your child will be going, and meet those who will be serving your child. You can be assured that each volunteer working with your child loves Jesus and has passed a background check. Security is important to us, so you will be given a numbered security tag. Should you be needed during the worship service, the number will be displayed in the auditorium. Your security tag will also ensure only you can pick up your child following the worship service.

North Rock Hill Students exists to see our world changed by the gospel one life at a time. We do this by creating an environment where students will find:

  • Love: We desire to love students and our community well, by being quick to listen, quick to be present, and quick to stand on the truth of the Bible.
  • Encourage: We desire to encourage students through God’s view of them, using the Bible as our foundation.
  • Equip: We desire to use the Word of God to prepare students for the mission of God.
  • Challenge: We desire to challenge students to step out and step up in faith by making them aware of opportunities to live unselfishly.

Where it all comes together

During the school year, middle and high school students meet on Wednesday nights from 6:15 to 7:45pm. During this time, students will have fun, engage in worship, and break into small groups. Small groups are gender-specific to create the best environment to grow in their faith.

When you join us on a Wednesday night, come in through the glass doors to the main lobby. Students will check in and hangout with volunteers or other students until service starts in the auditorium. Service will begin with a game, move into music, then a message and small groups.

During the summer, we provide hangouts, student camp, and mission trips for students to have fun, make new friends, and learn what it means to love Jesus.

D groups

Jesus left the disciples with the command to go and multiply themselves for the glory of God.  The goal of the Church and of individual Christians is to make disciples.  Outside of Jesus, one of the greatest gifts that God gave us is each other.  God plans to use us in each other’s lives to make us more like Him. But becoming like Jesus isn’t an over night process.  It’s a long journey that will have it’s share of highs and lows and everything in between. As a result, the D-groups at North Rock Hill are gatherings of imperfect people focused on helping each other take their next spiritual step.  It’s just one step at a time. It is sanctification in the context of community with the ultimate goal of purely enjoying God and helping others experience His goodness.  If joining a community like this is your next spiritual step, click the “I’m interested in a D-group button” to fill out a quick informational form that will help us connect you with the right group!
