Celebrate Volunteers

Dear Faith Family,

Something that I don’t do nearly enough is celebrate the volunteers of NRHC. Did you know that, as of today, there are 147 individuals who are serving in an ongoing volunteer capacity? Many of them serve in more than one area. We could not do ministry the way we do it at NRHC without them. If you serve at NRHC, thank you. I do my best to look for you and catch you serving in order to thank you in person, but I know I don’t get to everyone. If you attend NRHC regularly, thank a volunteer this week. They are serving your family well in so many ways!

I also want to thank you for stepping up these last few weeks to express your interest in serving at NRHC. 87 people turned in a Serve Card in the last couple weeks. That is huge. Thank you!

Since day one, I have been impressed with the servant-minded heart of NRHC. Those who serve already and those who are just jumping remind me of what I already knew. You are a church who serves others.

So, with that in mind, I want to challenge some of the rest of us, to get in the game! There are some key positions that are needed in North Rock Hill Kids, and I need your help. I am looking for 15 volunteers who are willing to serve in NRHkids. I promise you will be glad you did. These roles are so critical to the life of our church. Our kids’ ministry is the place where gospel seeds are planted and nurtured in young hearts. It’s where faith can come alive and where foundational biblical truths and a heart for worship are developed. You can make a huge difference in NRHkids. We don’t need theological giants or people with special teaching ninja skills. We need people who are willing to serve the families of NRHC and see what God will do through their willing service.

Is it you? Are you one of the 15? Think you may be? Not sure? A conversation costs you nothing. Email moc.llihkcorhtron@sdik for more information on how you can be part of one of the fastest growing, most impactful ministries in our church! We need you!

I just love being your pastor. I can’t wait to meet our newest volunteers. I will look for a chance to thank you! But there’s one thing you need to know. Every time, EVERY SINGLE TIME that I thank a volunteer, they thank me for the opportunity to serve. If you’re not in the game, you’re missing out!

Have a great week!,
Chad
