An Empty Grave and Unfinished Business

The story of Peter's restoration reminds us that no matter how far we've fallen, Jesus still pursues us with relentless love. The central narrative from John 21 paints a picture of Christ's forgiveness and our own struggles with disappointment and guilt. Just as Peter returned to fishing after denying Jesus, we too often retreat to our old ways when we feel we've failed. But the resurrected Christ meets us right where we are, offering forgiveness and renewed purpose. Jesus isn't done with us, no matter our past.
