God owns everything, and we are merely temporary managers of His resources. Biblical generosity stems from understanding two fundamental roles: God as the owner of all things and humans as stewards entrusted with managing His resources for His purposes. True generosity is not defined by the amount given, but by the spirit in which we give—willingly, joyfully, and wholeheartedly. The ultimate goal of generosity is worship, as we recognize that everything comes from God and is for God. We are called to dedicate ourselves to the Lord, holding our possessions with open hands rather than clenched fists, mindful that we are pilgrims journeying lightly through this temporary life.
